TPT 4th Edition SLOVAKIA 2005

It was the third time that the Tahitian Pearl Trophy was organized in Slovakia but it was the first time when the jury evaluation of the entries for this competition was performed in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia and both the 28 winning jeweleries and the other 24 entries were exhibited at the INCHEBA Jewelery and Watch EXPO held between October 21 and 23.

The jury meeting was attended by the Minister of Cultural Affairs who expressed his satisfaction with the entries. Four TV-companies and journalists from seven national magazines were present at the award-giving ceremony as well as at the reception. Beside the announcement of the results the chief attraction of the event was a Tahitian dance performance carried out beautiful Slovakian dancers who are employed at a 5-star hotel in Dubai. Some well-known Slovakian designers did not participate in the competition this time, it was a great pleasure to see lots of young faces among the participants. Though due to their limited financial possibilities they applied silver, it is a good thing that also the young generation is interested in the Tahitian pearl.
