Introduction

Tahitian Pearl Trophy

is an international jewellery design competition organised by "Perles de Tahiti", the promotional board ofthe world-renowned Tahiti Cultured Pearls.

Objectives
This competition has three major objectives:

  • To promote the Tahiti Cultured Pearl world wide through jewellery creations by recognised designers.

  • To demonstrate the Tahitian pearl's universal appeal and versatility.
  • To underscore the modern role played by Tahiti pearl jewellery, showing its wearability and "à la mode" status within both the jewellery and fashion worlds.
  • Jewelry categories
    There are 10 categories: ring, earrings/ear pendent, bracelet, necklace, pendant, brooch, jewellery for men, accessory, design and parure (set of jewellery pieces).

    Judging criteria
    The jewellery pieces are selected according to 4 notation criteria: wearability, originality, creativity and realisation.
