Claude Mazloum, the Official Representative of the G.I.E. Perles de Tahiti for the Middle East, North Africa, Iran, Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus, launched the fifth Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2007-2008, during a Press Conference followed by a glamorous lunch at “La Parrilla” restaurant, which made of this Trophy, one of the most appealing events of the year. A hundred thirteen pieces of art coming from the 20 countries represented were judged by a Panarab Jury composed of 16 journalists representing the main media of the Arab world. Thereafter, this professional vote was firmly confirmed by the friendly opinion of seventy five ladies of the Middle-Eastern Jet set being in Lebanon, for The Adha and the New Year’s holidays.

The vote came up with 29 winners from the following countries:
8 winners from the United Arab Emirates,
7 winners from Greece,
4 winners from Turkey,
3 winners from Lebanon,
2 winners from Qatar,
2 winners from Syria.
1 winner from Saudi Arabia,
1 winner from Bahrain,
1 winner from Morocco,

The results show that 9 countries out of twenty were qualified in the regional competition. Among those, only 8 will be elevated to the International Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2008, which will be held towards the end of 2008.

Regarding the 6th edition of TAHITIAN PEARL TROPHY, the candidatures will be accepted as of June 1, 2008. The topic of the competition still to be revealed…

Claude Mazloum, le Représentant Officiel du G.I.E. Perles de Tahiti pour le Moyen-Orient, l'Afrique du Nord, l'Iran, la Turquie, la Grèce et Chypre, a lancé le cinquième Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2007-2008, lors d'une Conférence de Presse suivie d'un glamoureux déjeuner au restaurant "La Parrilla", ce qui a fait de ce Trophée, un des événements les plus remarqués de l'année. Cent treize pièces d'art en provenance des 20 pays représentés ont été jugées par un Jury panarabe composé de 16 journalistes représentant l'essentiel des médias du monde arabe. Par la suite, ce vote professionnel a été solidement confirmé par l'avis amical de soixante quinze dames du Jet-set Moyen-oriental se trouvant au Liban, pour les vacances de fin d'année et celles du Adha.

Les résultats du vote ont donné 29 gagnants en provenance des pays suivants:
8 gagnants aux Emirats Arabes Unis,
7 gagnants en Grèce,
4 gagnants en Turquie,
3 gagnants au Liban,
2 gagnants au Qatar,
2 gagnants en Syrie.
1 gagnant en Arabie Saoudite,
1 gagnant à Bahreïn,
1 gagnant Maroc,

Ce qui montre que 9 pays sur vingt ont été qualifiés aux compétitions régionales. De ceux-ci, uniquement 8 seront présents lors de l'International Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2008, qui se déroulera vers la fin de l'année 2008.

Pour ce qui est de la 6ème édition du TAHITIAN PEARL TROPHY, les candidatures commenceront à être acceptées dès le 1er juin 2008, sous un thème encore à dévoiler…
